Robin Schulz was born 1987 in Osnabrueck.
He was influenced by electronic music and all its faces from the beginning, starting to mix his own mixtapes, initially with the good old Technics MK2 and Pioneer DJM 600, later moving to modern Traktor Kontrol S4 and Akai APC40.
On his turntables there could have been found tracks by Richie Hawtin, Sven Vaeth, M.A.N.D.Y, Lexy & K-Paul or Booka Shade, just to mention a few of them. These artists have influenced and inspired him from his early stage of development.
From 2007 - 2009 Robin also hosted a local party series called "Electroschnipsel".
In 2009 he wanted to put into effect his own ideas and started to engage himself with own productions.
The first inspired tracks with minimalistic nature were created with FL Studio and an Edirol PCR-300 MIDI Keyboard.
Over the years his sound changed into direction of tech house and deep house, what can be heard in his current tracks, mostly produced with Ableton Live 8.
